Promotional activities
For entrance and visits to the Oasis
of "Il Bottaccio", the Lucca Section of the WWF guarantees
a service of guided tours every Sunday between the beginning of
February and the end of may from 10.00 to 17.000
Adult and school groups can book visits on work days by contacting

In accord with WWF Oasis regulations, educational visits are held
in collaboration with teachers and are conducted by qualified personnel
appointed by the WWF.
An agreement with the Associazione Legambiente (environmental association),
which manages the "Bosco di Tanali" ANPIL, has allowed
amplification of tourist-educational visits by offering visitors
itineraries which connect and integrate the two Protected Areas.
The paths at the WWF Oasis "Il Bottaccio" are equipped
with raised wood walkways for visiting the wetlands. There are two
observation hides and a recreational area complete with Nature Trail
and educational boards. |
